1. Why choose Care at Home?

We can help our clients to continue to live at home as independently as possible and to enjoy the comforts of their own home surroundings. This is a cost-effective alternative to moving into permanent care home.

2. What type of care is available to me and when?

We provide a wide range of services, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week including all Bank and Public Holidays:
  • Personal care day or night
  • Assistance with Shopping, Laundry, Household tasks
  • Outings and Companionship
  • Childcare
  • Carer Support
  • Respite/Live-in service
3. Do you cover the area I live in?

We have branches across the whole of Forth Valley area and are continually expanding. To find out about services in your area, please contact us for further information.

4. Are staff fully trained and vetted?

All our staff receive full induction training and have an on-going training programme which is managed and conducted at our own in-house training centre.

All staff are subject to very intensive interviewing and vetting procedures, including an Enhanced Criminal Record Search.

1. What courses can you provide?

Our courses fall into 2 categories: SVQ's and avondale Certified Courses.

SVQ's

Level II, III and IV in Care can be provided in conjunction with Vocational Portfolio Development, which is an SVQ approved Centre. Please contact our Training Manager on 01786 447303 or email: enquiries@avondalehealthcare.co.uk

avondale Certified Courses

These courses will be provide and certified totally by avondale training:
  • Manual Handling
  • Management of Aggression
  • Food Hygiene
  • Health & Safety in the Workplace
  • Health Emergencies
  • Customer Service
  • Staff Induction
  • Senior Carer Induction
  • Personal Care/Hygiene

2. Where can we attend your courses?

We have a purpose designed training centre which provides a diary of course dates, or we can attend your place of work, whichever is the most convenient for you.

3. Are discounts available for block bookings?

Discounts may be available for companies or individuals who wish to complete more than one course. 

4. How many candidates per course?

We try where possible to keep delegates to a manageable number to ensure that each candidate receives individual support and guidance. Therefore, most courses consist of between 8 to 12 delegates. If you have a special requirement then our training manager can discuss this individually with you.
